Alan Cox Bio

Alan Cox is currently assigned as a Master Trainer and heads up our Columbia, SC Division.

After having served in the United States Marine Corps Alan has dedicated the last 17 years to gathering training, knowledge, and experience in the field of law enforcement. Previous assignments include uniform patrol, patrol supervisor, special response team, mounted patrol unit, K-9 unit handler, and K-9 unit Master Trainer. Alan first began training police working dogs in 1999 eventually achieving certification as a Master Police Canine Trainer in 2006 through Cross Creek Training Academy. His career development training took place under the direct tutelage of top trainers from the Royal Dutch Police and the K.N.P.V. Throughout these years Alan has trained numerous dogs that have been placed throughout the United States as well as abroad. He has also appeared as a guest instructor/trainer for many departments/agencies throughout the U.S and abroad.
