Custom Canine Unlimited - South Carolina Division

Steve has nearly nine (9) years in law enforcement where he has worked numerous assignments including K-9, mounted patrol, courtroom and jail.

He has worked patrol with K-9’s for the past five (5) years starting with a Labrador, his current partner is “Drago” a German Shepherd Dog. Steve has been training with Custom Canine Unlimited for the past four (4) years where he has dedicated his time and efforts to specialize in detection training. He has been instructing with Custom Canine for the past two (2) years teaching at their K-9 seminars held throughout the Southeast.

In addition to K-9 Steve is a certified Taser International and First Defense Technologies O.C. Spray instructor. He is certified through the SC State Law Enforcement Division as a level I, II and III security instructor in firearms, for both classroom and range. He also holds an instructor certification in NC through the Private Protective Services Board.
